The openings are a part of a broader growth strategy that provides short- and long-term transportation solutions when and where customers need them. From its beginnings in in Southern California, Enterprise Truck Rental quickly expanded to locations by Over the past decade, the business has tripled its number of locations to more than today throughout the U.
Enterprise Truck Rental continues to grow as a result of customer demand for seasonal, project-based and e-commerce delivery rentals for commercial businesses, as well as personal truck rental needs for consumers. The business expects to open a total of 40 new locations across the U. So far, 26 branches have opened:. One of the 26 newly opened Enterprise Truck Rental locations is in New Mexico — the first in the state. Located at Coors Blvd. NW in Albuquerque, the office shares space with an Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch and provides access to a wide range of cargo vans, box trucks and tow-capable pickup trucks for both business and personal use.
Enterprise is working with local service shops and other area vendors to purchase and maintain the vehicles. Enterprise offers a promote-from-within culture that encourages success among employees, allowing them to move up quickly based on their performance and work ethic. In fact, the New Mexico opening is already creating new career opportunities.
Albuquerque Branch Rental Manager Lacy Baron started like many Enterprise employees — in the renowned Management Training program , which teaches employees how to run a business, empower teams and provide excellent face-to-face customer service. In total, the New Mexico Truck Rental team consists of three employees — one group truck manager, one branch rental manager and a vehicle service agent. Pros: Good car. Cons: Overcharged. The clerk tried signing me up for the insurance Payless offers, amounting to a total of over dollars. Had i not been alert, i would have signed up for both policies.
I was also overcharged on my credit card; Payless estimated the overall cost for the week would be around dollars, though a charge of dollars has appeared on my statement. Deceptive pricing. Renter Beware. Pros: Rental car was clean, roomy and got good gas mileage. Comfortable and handled well in snowy conditions. GPS worked very well even in remote areas of northern New Mexico. Cons: Slow leak in left rear tire required continual filling. At pickup I was informed that I could not use my Bank of America debit card.
I will not use Dollar Car Rental again. Pros: An upgraded car, better than the economy class reserved! Cons: Unit was getting long in the tooth, required alot of documentation regarding existing body, wheel and wind screen damage.
Nothing major, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be held responsible for it. Don't be scammed. Cons: I made the reservation for four days and just used the default drop off pick up times of noon. I've never had a problem with any rental car company in the past picking up a car as much as a day early. So I asked what the "new" price would be. So I asked what would happen if I picked up the car one minute after noon and received a shrug.
Pros: Check in was fast and easy. Pros: In and Out was very quick and easy. Pros: Good car. Called my bank, Payless had not been declined, hadn't even connected. Furthermore, there was dirt inside.
I started to walk away and the lady called me back and said maybe she could "do better. The car initially looked fairly clean, but as soon as sunlight hit the windows, they were so smeared I could barely see out of them so I had to stop at the first gas station to clean them. Also I was told if I chose the "bring it back full" option I had to save the receipt to prove I had filled up within 10 miles of the airport. I did this and when I tried to give it to the lady who checked me in, she said she didn't need it.
All in all extremely poor experience with Dollar and I will never rent with them again. She said there were extra taxes not included in the final-tax-kayak price, and she was wrong ultimately in terms of what I was billed after the car was returned, but it's never fun to deal with those hard-to-avoid car rental indignities. Where is my refund? Cons: I cancelled my reservation due to no longer needing a vehicle. While that was taken care of properly, I still have not been credited for the added insurance that I purchased for the trip and that was about 6 days ago.
Pros: Everything about the car was great. I was ignored on many occasions during the pick up and drop off.
Same agent took attended to me each time. Very unprofessional and unwilling. I will never rent from Dollar again. Pros: Availability. Cons: I waited in line for over an hour. This cut into our vacation, making us miss the beginning of our show. I was also told I could pay in cash for the Carr at the drop off, which was not true. Way too expensive to pick up in one location and drop off in another.
Pros: Customer service, transaction speed, car choices. Did not go to Albuquerque. Pros: I thought this was for another city where I rented a car from Dollar. Anyway, everything at that Dollar local was perfect. Pros: Got upgraded for free to SUV.
Cons: Great. Very helpful. Pros: Easy check-in and check-out Cons: Nothing. Cons: Company messed up my bill; upgraded car was not properly checked to be on the road; left back wheel kept loosing air. I have rented from nearly every other car rental company with little or no problems.
I suggest you pay a little extra and use another company. Pros: The Albuquerque office was awesome in all aspects! No car available. Cons: Advantage had no vehicles available even though I had a reservation. I was left stranded without a car. Pros: I like to the Space and the gas mileage impressed with how far I got and only had to fuel up once.
Good clean cars but the insurance is to high! Great car, great price, but smokey. Cons: After we drove away we began to smell and feel the effects of a car that had been smoked in and covered up by air freshener. As my wife and I are both very allergic to cigarette smoke, we had to drive the whole trip with the windows down or cracked enough to let in fresh air.
Pros: the staff at ABQ were very helpful especially the ladies at the counter. It was great. Pros: All good, thanks! Pros: In and Out was very quick and easy. Pros: The reservation was simple to make and customer service answered all of my questions.
Pros: Check in was fast and easy. The car was a Nissan Versa and drove really well and was clean. Return was crazy easy. Easy Pick-up and Return. Price was very good. Pros: Great gas mileage. Super friendly and professional Alamo employees. Car was new, clean and had directions for Alamo rental location and surrounding areas in compartment, which was very handy.
Alamo economy rental. Pros: No complaints whatsoever. Apparently Alamo and National share a counter, workers, and fleet of cars in Albuquerque. And the car was surprisingly smooth, an enjoyable ride up to Raton and back as well as driving around Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Staff was efficient and courteous on pickup and drop-off, car was cheap and more than adequate, plenty clean.
